There are only 2 days in a woman's cycle when an egg can be fertilised.

Sperm struggles for survival as soon as it enters the vagina. It is lucky to last a few days so it is important that sperm is around at the right time.
Whilst 28 days is considered an "average" cycle length, most women will have a different length and for some this can differ from cycle to cycle.

An ovulation kit can help pinpoint the fertile days.

What does the Zestica Ovulation Kit do?
The Zestica Ovulation Kit measures the amount of a specific hormone in your urine on a number of consecutive days.

This hormone (LH or luteinising hormone) rises sharply just before ovulation. By detecting this rise you will have 24-48 hours warning that ovulation
is about to happen.

How does the Zestica Ovulation Kit work?

For a number of days you will carry out one urine test each day.
As there is some background level LH in your urine the control line will represent that level.

The test line has to pick up a rise in that level so this line has to be stronger than the control line to reflect this.

As long as your test line is weaker than your control line you have not detected the rise.
